Cazy's Demonic edited and retextured

I thought this hair was way too long in the back, so I chopped some of it off. It's pretty much the same as Cazy's mesh, other than that. The poly count is slightly smaller, due to the hair strands I deleted at the back, but this mesh is still very high poly, so it may not work well on slower computers. It's short enough that it won't make much of a difference, but the poly count is too high to support morph states. This hair looks super shiny on the create-a-sim screen, but it should be fine in game.

My version won't conflict with Cazy's, so you can have both in your game at the same time.

Available for teens, young adults, adults, and elders of both genders.

Poly count:
LOD0 - 13619
LOD1 - 9438
LOD2 - 3469
LOD3 - 419

  1. I wish you had fixed the children and toddler versions as well. Why are these ages always ignored? It is annoying that one gets a fixed version for the adults but the kids have to look bad :(

    1. I didn’t really have time to make child and toddler versions for this one. It wasn’t particularly difficult to edit this mesh, but I needed to separate the hair strands and play with the UV mapping of each one individually to make it look even in the back, which was fairly time consuming. And really tedious. I’m busy with real life stuff, and if I held off on posting this and tried to make child versions, it’d probably be weeks before it got finished, if I ever finished it at all.

  2. I was hoping someone would edit this. I never liked how long it was in the back. Thank you.

    1. Thank you!! Can you please remove all the wisps from this hair for V2? It'll make a nice military cut I guess. It's really hard to find decent male hair. So, I thank you very much!!! :-))

    2. I can’t, sorry. There’s nothing under the wisps, so if you delete them or alpha edit them out the hair has a gigantic bald spot. :(

  4. Wow some people are so ungrateful! It's no wonder creators are leaving the TS3 community left and right. Do people actually think these creators who work for free and do this for fun are making stuff specifically for you? When did people get so entitled?! Did it ever cross your mind that maybe she makes stuff she wants to use for her own game and shares it with us as a courtesy? Reis made this hair usable in my opinion, the long strands in the back were a deal breaker for me. Now it looks great! I think y'all should appreciate Reis more, she's one of the very few that actually fixes hairs, most people are just simple retextures/alpha editors. And there's a reason for this, retexturing is easy (even I can do it), actually editing meshes a whole nother ball game. So thank you Reis! I appreciate your hard work!

    1. Thanks, I'm glad you like the hair! And I really appreciate the comment, but you don't have to worry about me. Just about everyone I've interacted with in the sims community has been awesome. People can come off a bit rude or ungrateful sometimes, but I don't think I've ever gotten any truly mean spirited comments.

I think the shine of your version looks better than that of cazy's though both are great XD. Anyway Thank you for sharing this!!

  6. Hey Reis :)

    1. It's a standalone! It shouldn't conflict with Cazy's, or with any other retextures. Sorry, I always forget to put that in the blog posts...

  7. Reis thanks so much for including the LODs because without them I wouldn't know what I can get or can't. Some hairs can be too high poly and u fix that just like metalmoose and any retexturer out there that display the polycount is a good retexturer to me :3 Hey how about gradient effects o.o?
