I really like this hair, but it had an extremely high poly count and no morph states. So I reduced the polys for all LODs, and added fat and thin morphs to the high detail mesh (I couldn't get the morphs to work for the medium detail mesh, unfortunately). I had to delete about 3500 polys before the mesh was small enough to handle morph states, so my version is a bit less detailed than the original. It won't conflict with Cazy's version or with any other retextures.
Available for teen, young adult, adult, and elder females.
Poly count:
LOD0 - 12665
LOD1 - 7211
LOD2 - 3390
LOD3 - 484
Gorgeous work, Reis! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteNice! Thank you <3
ReplyDeleteBrilliant, thanks! :D Oh and just wondering, what skin is your model wearing?
ReplyDeleteThat's Ephemera's non default Sunny skin - http://ephemera1969.blogbus.com/logs/121670108.html.
DeleteWait a minute - you can add morph states to hairs with 10,000+ polys? I had no luck doing so for a hair that was around 11,000-ish polys or so a while ago using the mesh toolkit thingy... apart from that, great work, and thank you!
ReplyDeleteI made the morphs with milkshape, and packaged everything together with TSR Workshop, and it all works fine in my game. The mesh does explode if I try to add morphs to the lower LODs, though. I bet the polys would need to be less than 10,000 before those would work...
DeleteOh mah goodness. <3 I just discovered your blog. You are now my favorite hair retexturer. xD Can't wait to see more stuff in the future! :3
ReplyDeletethanks for reducing the poly count! this will play much better on my machine. :) You're awesome!
